Saree & Blouse Buying Guide
A saree and a blouse are two separate choices: one determines the drape and colour combination, while the other needs the right fit. Use this checklist to compare listings, check what is supplied and choose an outfit without guessing.

1. Choose the saree before matching the blouse
Start with the colours you want to wear and the occasion you are shopping for. Compare the saree body, border and pallu in the photographs, then read the material recorded in the listing. A fabric name or photograph alone does not confirm weight, transparency, lining or care requirements.
Explore Ajrakh modal silk sarees for that collection’s prints, or Kerala set sarees and Onam clothing for the boutique’s seasonal selection. These are collection choices, not guarantees of a particular manufacturing method or delivery date.
2. Check whether you need a separate blouse
A blouse piece is fabric, not a finished blouse. A readymade blouse is a separate stitched garment. Do not assume that a blouse worn by a model is included with the saree: look for an explicit description of the pieces supplied.
If you are buying separately, compare readymade and stretchable saree blouses. You can pick a colour from the saree’s border or choose a contrast. Screen settings and photography can affect colours, so ask the boutique to compare the two product references when a close match matters.
3. Compare fit, not just the size label
Choose the size on the individual blouse listing. Stretchable does not mean that every size fits everyone, and the same letter size can differ between designs. Compare any supplied measurements with a blouse that already fits you comfortably.
- Check the listed bust or chest measurement and whether it describes the garment or the wearer.
- Compare blouse length, sleeve length and the fit around the arm opening where measurements are available.
- Ask whether alteration allowance, lining or padding is included if those details matter to you. Do not assume them from the photographs.
We do not provide a universal conversion from S, M or L to body measurements. Ask for product-specific measurements when a listing does not include the information you need.
4. Check the details before an event-date order
Confirm the selected colour and size, the stock message, the pieces included and any alteration request. Read the current Shipping & Delivery policy and Refund Policy. For a wedding, festival or other fixed date, ask the boutique to confirm arrangements before ordering rather than assuming an arrival date.
Prefer a coordinated outfit?
Compare churidar sets with women’s co-ord sets. Check the top, bottoms and any dupatta or other pieces listed for the individual outfit. A collection label does not replace the product’s own description.
